Parents and guardians have full control of their child's ride. Our chauffeurs do not accept any request to stop & follow the route requested by the parents.Fleet Tracking coming soon!

Age Restricted Amenities

Kids & Youth will have access to WiFi and Phone chargers, however, Xm radio and tablets are restricted from certain channels and sites unless granted permission from the parent or guardian.

Consistent Contact

Parents should not worry if their children made it to their destinations, we provide escorts, text, phone calls and provide updates to parents and guardians of the status of the service.

Are your Children Schedules Busier than Yours?

Our kid's sedan transportation service accommodates parents whose children may have heavy schedules which can cause schedule conflicts. Parents may not be available to accommodate their loved one's extracurricular activity schedule, school schedule and or sudden unexpected events. The #1 issue that requires Kid's transportation services are conflicts and limited schedule availability to take your children to their desired and daily destinations.

What to Expect

Carpool Rides

We do offer carpool services for parents and guardians requesting their Kids or Youth to go to the same destination. Pick up for both kids & youth must be within a 5 mile radius of each other. Our carpool service is a for an economic approach for parents and guardians. You can call, text or submit a quote to arrange carpool services with other Eastern Shore Transit customers or family, friends, colleagues, and other trusted partners on your behalf that are traveling to the same destination such as school and or extracurricular activities or arrange your own carpool services with those you are comfortable with.

Vehicle

Lexus ES 350- Accommodates 2 Passengers Only

Booster Seats are available for children up to the ages of 8 and or under 4'9. If the lap & shoulder belt does not fit correctly, the child will be required to sit in a booster seat!

Baltimore City & Baltimore Counties within 25 miles North, East, South, and West of Downtown, Baltimore.

Servicing Ages 5 to 17

Our Kids chauffeur service is only for children 5 to 17 because we understand that these are the appropriate ages that children can communicate how they feel about the service and report their comfort levels to their parents or guardians. Babysitters or caregivers do not have to pay additional cost and will be covered in the price of the selected service.

Kids & Youth service is very delicate and requires a lot of preparation and attentiveness before parents or guardians and Eastern Shore Transit come to an agreement of the expectations and level of care needed when providing transportation service to your child. It's best that we follow the steps before Kid or Youth Transportation is booked.

First Step

We can arrange frequent visits with the parents and your child at our public location meeting spots prior to booking your appointment service date to get your child comfortable with the assigned chauffeur and vehicle. If the child and or parents/guardians are uncomfortable, then unfortunately, this particular service will not be available as an option because we want the Kids or Youth to feel safe and parents as our customers to be comfortable. We hope you understand!

Second Step

You choose and trust Eastern Shore Transit to provide transportation service for your child. All parents and Guardians must complete a Parental Consent/Travel Form before booking any transportation services. Without the consent form completed, Eastern Shore Transit does reserve the right to cancel any booked appointments. The consent is to protect both parties and ensure we abide by the child and parents needs.

Third Step

Once the consent is completed, you can book the transportation service needed for your child 24 hours prior to the service date which will require you to reserve a card on file until the day of service. After you have booked your child's service, you will receive a follow-up call, text and or email for additional and confirmation details.

Fourth Step

On the day of service, our chauffeurs will arrive at the pick up address and the provided debit or credit card by the purchaser used to hold your appointment, will be charged for the full amount and additional charges or fees if any at the end of service.

Fifth Step

The selected transportation service is provided with frequent and thorough communication at all times when your children are in our care via phone at the time of service! No exceptions, we want to ease the fear and worry of the whereabouts of your children. We inform you once the child is with the proper guardians and at the location based on the information provided at the time of booking. We give each child a personal escort to the authority and only that authority of the provided identification in the parental consent and if the identity of the individual does not match we do not leave the child with anyone else unless given the permission from the custodial parent, guardian(s) or purchaser who can give that consent. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Parents, Guardians and Family, you can now feel relieved knowing that there is a service you can rely on and trust! To your children, we hope they enjoy the ride experience and the provided appropriate amenities for the duration of their service!
